Emerging and Tropical Virus Services
Customized In Vitro Assay Development
Advance your drug development program with ImQuest Biosciences' IND-directed antiviral services for mosquito borne viruses, including Zika, Dengue, Chikungunya, West Nile and Yellow Fever virus. Our suite of in vitro assays includes virus screening assays as well as assays to evaluate promising drug candidates for their range of action, efficacy in drug combinations, potential for resistance selection, and phenotypic/genotypic characterization of resistant strains. For in vivo efficacy studies, we offer mouse and non-human primate Zika and Dengue virus models. Rapidly identify high potential drug candidates with our screening assay with parallel evaluations of efficacy and cellular toxicity. A variety of cell lines may be used in our assay including Vero, BHK21, LLCKMK2, and Huh7 depending on the viral model required. Assays using primary cells are available and can be customized upon request. To assist with your development efforts, we will develop, qualify, and validate GLP-compliant immunoassays for detection and immunogenicity and run your samples. Our team can also perform customized neutralization assays.

High Titer Virus Stock Production
ImQuest BioSciences provides technical services for the production of high titer and highly infectious virus stocks for both laboratory and clinical strains. We can propagate, concentrate, and characterize at scales ranging from milliters to liters, saving you time and avoiding the tedious steps required for virus production. Whatever your needs, our scientists will customize the virus production process to your specifications.
Virus Production Services include:
- Production of crude virus preparations for clinical and laboratory derived strains
- Concentration of virus from crude preparations utilizing Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF)
- Determination of virus concentration by qPCR and TCID50 determinations
- Preparation of inactivated virus
- Isolation of viral proteins, RNA & DNA
- Quantification of proteins and nucleic acids
Documentation of final viral titer is provided with each lot of virus produced. Infectious virus in each pool may also be quantified by TCID50. Virus can be shipped domestically and internationally, and we are certified for the shipment of Category A and Category B Infectious Substances.
