ImQuest BioSciences Has Hired Dr. Anthony Ham Ph.D. to Lead Formulation Research and Development

February 1, 2009

ImQuest BioSciences has hired Dr. Anthony Ham Ph.D. to lead formulation research and development. Dr. Ham has worked in the research and development of formulations for over 9 years. He received his B.S. from the University of Illinois in Chemical Engineering and his Ph.D. from the University of Virginia in Biomedical Engineering where his work focused on the development of nanoparticle targeting for cardiovascular inflammation. Prior to joining ImQuest, Dr. Ham did a post-doctoral fellowship at the Magee-Womens Research Institute at the University of Pittsburgh in pharmaceutics and formulation development for anti-HIV microbicides where he developed conventional microbicide formulations such as semi-solid gels, as well as novel formulations including bio films and intra-vaginal rings. Ranging from nanoparticle engineered surfaces for specific targeting for inflammation responses to drug delivery systems for the prevention of HIV, Dr. Ham has developed drug delivery formulations to enhance drug efficacy, increase specific targeting, and confer long-term controlled release.
